A mix of silver metallic ink, split fountain blues, silver-gilt, white, and vibrant orange on a warm grey field. hand-distressed textures are layered on top of each other in this piece, inspired, and named for the Gee’s Bend quilters in Boykin, Alabama. Specifically the denim work of Mary Lee Bendolph. Intentional overspills and spread have been introduced into the artwork, as well as the retention of any actual imperfections, so there is subtle variance across the edition.
