I printed a bunch of ‘Emergency’ screen prints, in various palettes, including fluos, metallics, and glow-in-the-dark ink, while on residency in Amsterdam. They bounce of the core livery pattern on Dutch police cars fire engines, and ambulances. I decided that the visual overkill of combining the patterns and colours in various combinations through collage was a path calling to me. This is one of three outcomes.
The sections are collaged onto a thin card back, so the pieces cannot be rolled. Consequently they’re only available for Dublin collection or delivery. If I can’t delete the shipping cost for these, I’ll just refund it. But to be clear – Not for posting!
