‘Amity’
700 x 700m
4 hand pulled inks, and a gild, on Fabriano Rosapina 285 gsm paper with deckled edges.
Edition of 6
Numbered and signed by the artist
A small edition on paper, derived from my original on wood artists’ panels.
It’s named Amity for the island with the bank holiday shark problem. I’ve worked with quarter sections of circles, and all variety of arcs in my compositions, but these ones were the most shark fin like, so I just ran with it. Pure accident – it’s not about sharks at all.
I’m planning on a copper-gilded variant with a different colourway before I get this out of my system.
